The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre provides one of the largest meeting spaces in the City of Whitehorse.
The building contains a diversity of spaces appropriate for conferences and conventions, workshops and weddings, cultural events and experiences. Set beside the river, it provides a welcoming and peaceful space (view overview of the facility and its meeting spaces).
Our Meeting Spaces
LONGHOUSE: The Centre features a large Longhouse capable of hosting up to 450 delegates with theatre-style seating or sit-down dinner events for up to 250 people.
MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM: Down the hallway, which is lined with interpretive and cultural displays, is the Multi-Purpose Room, another large meeting space. It can seat between 50 – 100 people at round tables, and up to 160 people with theatre-style seating.
MEETING ROOMS: The Centre also includes two smaller meeting rooms (Classroom A and Classroom B) that can be used on their own, or as breakout rooms for larger events. At certain times of the year, the Artist Studio will also be available for booking.
LOBBY SPACE: Our spacious and light-filled Lobby is a popular location for cocktail receptions, after-hours public talks, press conferences, and other events that require a flexible space. With 1,150 square feet of available space, it can accommodate up to 50 people seated theatre-style or over 100 for a standing reception.
ELDERS’ LOUNGE: The Cultural Centre is home to an Elders’ Lounge, which may be available for use. Please ask us for details.
